Higher Diploma in Adult Religious Education in a Christian Context

This Higher Diploma is a professional award designed to train people to facilitate ADULT religious education, particularly within the Catholic / Christian Community. This qualification helps people who already have a degree in theology (or equivalent) to gain the skills necessary to facilitate others coming to an understanding of their faith. Many parish and local Christian communities are becoming increasingly aware of the need for programmes to help people update their understanding of their faith. This Higher Diploma will help participants develop skills of an educator so that they are equipped to organise and run programmes, such as the ministry training or Lenten/Advent programmes in their local communities.  This course is taught on a part-time basis (which consists of five, three-day seminars taught on Thursday, Friday and Saturday = Total 15 days).       
Participants will teach two courses during their training.
